John Carolan

Coaching Experience -  Children’s level 1,2,3, Goalkeeping level 1&2, going for goalkeeping basic license in September.

Little Known Fact -  In the early 80’s John was allowed into Shawfield pre-match to get autographs at the dressing rooms. Being a keeper his hero was Scotland ‘keeper, Alan Rough. Clyde were topping the 2^nd and Partick Thistle (Alan’s club at the time) were struggling in the Premier in season 1981-82. John knows that he’ll eventually get to meet Alan Rough if Clyde go up and Thistle come down. This duly happens. Clyde’s first home match against Thistle is in November 1982. The day before the game, Alan Rough transfers to Premier league Hibs….
